Google Sitelink searchbox is the search box which is dedicated to a particular website.

It is placed inside the Sitelink results of any website when users search it’s name in google.

An Example of Sitelink Searchbox for Snapdeal.com is shown below :

The following examples demonstrate how to implement sitelinks searchbox markup on your website using JSON-LD and Mircodata, or on your website and app using JSON-LD.

<script type=”application/ld+json”>
{
  “@context”: “http://schema.org”,
  “@type”: “WebSite”,
  “url”: “https://www.example.com/”,
  “potentialAction”: {
    “@type”: “SearchAction”,
    “target”: “https://query.example.com/search?q={search_term_string}”,
    “query-input”: “required name=search_term_string”
  }
}
</script>

Make sure that the Target is valid. Test your target by inserting search term strings.

An Example of Such Query String in our website is
